Real estate expert Julius M. Feinblum says several of the Kmart and Sears stores that are closing may provide locations for the furniture industry.  The expert is president of Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate, Inc., a national real estate brokerage and consulting firm based in Plainview, NY, which specializes in new site locations and dispositions to the home furnishings industry.

Paul Gores of the Journal Sentinel writes that the real estate market is returning.  Real estate expert  and University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business Professor Morris A. Davis, said that although a European economic disaster could hurt the recovery, it looks like the risk of a further real estate decline is dwindling.
